Biodiversity= it can refer to genetic diversity, species diversity or ecosystems diversity. Biodiversity is the study of the processes that create and maintain variation. It is concerned with the variety of individuals within populations, the diversity of species within communities, and the range of ecological roles within ecosystems. Debate about the value of biodiversity and the need to protect it remains contested. Two approaches: objective assessment or ecological processes, common on the moral. Philosophical and political aspects: the 1st risks losing species to exploitation, the 2nd leads questions about the impartiality of scientific conclusions.
