GGR124H1 Study Guide - Final Guide: Africville, Urban Renewal, Gentrification
Document Summary
#inequality is described as the differential status among individuals and groups. An area that is qualified as urban is anonymity with high population density. Mixed land uses including commercial, residential, industrial are built with tall and dense buildings. Many countries around the world such as china and canada are sites of growing urban inequality. Cities are becoming polarized by income and racial, and lead to many forms of urban inequality. My perspective on urban inequality shifted since taking this course. I did not have much knowledge about urban inequality before. I understand that there are different forms of urban inequality and how urban inequality has affected the society. #urban inequality is always a problem because it represented the uneven city life of citizens. Urban inequality suggests that our communities and the quality of neighborhood life are at stake because this uneven city life of people has unequal opportunities for citizens.
