Document Summary

Amadau diallo: black man who immigrated to the states. 1st, write an article and send to many different experts to find all of the flaws within it. 2nd, experts will send back article with all of the corrections and things that should be fixed in their study. 3rd, make appropriate changes to study/article and send it back, if found to be valid it can be published the problem is the gap between what we can observe and what we want to understand observed reality vs. theory. Reality (hidden) = theoretical level ex. self-esteem (not tangible) construct validity- does your study actually study what you want it to. Does the presence of factor x > increase the presence of factor y ex. violence in the media ex. violence in society. But what if: c changes a and b making it look like a causes b.
