Constructs - things we cannot see, hear, smell, measure with a regular scale so we define them operationally i. e. we define them and measure them based on something observable e. g. behavior. We measure constructs using measures which correspond to their operational definitions. Variable - a property or characteristic that has more than one value. Population parameters - the properties of a population. Sampling error - a naturally occurring discrepancy between a statistic describing a property of a sample and the population parameter. M rgins of error come under the category of sampling error. Systematic differences - a mysterious force causing errors in sampling. Correlational designs - a means of studying where no variable is manipulated, there is just basic observing or measuring of variables in interest.
