Your actions under positive emotions are less predictable. In the big five (5 normal traits which are dispositional and show differences among individuals), two traits are thought to broadly reflect positive emotionality (extraversion) and negative emotionality (neuroticism). Extraversion incline to have positive affect, assertive, take charge, direct, show feelings when happy. Neuroticism incline to have negative affect, easily discouraged, feel sad, worry. Everyone is characterized by these traits to some extent in that nobody shows 0 of any of the. Neuroticism is correlated with incidence of many psychological disorders including mood disorders.
