Teleological view: accounts for an event by assuming a cause for said event: aristotles belief. Culmative natural selection and evolution experiment is actually teleological because we are assuming an end goal of the experiment. Many aspects of cognition were accounted for by physical means. Clear: as if your seeing it in your minds eye as a physical object. Distinct: ideas that has no fuzzy boundaries and cannot be confused with another idea. Intuition acts instantaneous and is made up of clear and distinct factors: men who use intuition correctly will find truth however it is easy to confuse fact from false. We use arbitrary relationship (letters and their sounds) and non arbitrary (the direction of an arrow) for communication: percept: mental image. The homunculus fallacy: the idea that there is a small person in your head that sees everything you see and then interprets sensory info for you: however this creates an infinite regression.
