From this group activity, i learned that sometimes organizations must learn by trial and error. They develop a system first and it may seem effective on paper, but only after it is implemented for some time do the flaws in planning become apparent. Planning is a crucial part when starting any organizational system or objective. However, plans can"t be set in stone and managers should be flexible to change and able to adapt quickly without causing too much of a disruption in the organization"s activities. Due to limited resources, sometimes there is a trade-off between efficiency and effectiveness to fix problems occurring in an organization such as the one we chose. Another thing i learned is that employees" behaviors and attitudes can be strongly influenced if they belong to an organization with a strong culture.
