Geography studies the relationships among: regions, natural systems, society, cultural activities, the interdependence of all the above through space (spatial) Spatial refers to the nature and character of physical space, its measurement, and the distribution of things within it. Geographic science is divided into five themes: location, region, movement, human-earth relationships, place. Analyzing the physical characteristics of earth"s surface and related processes . Analyzing and synthesizing of environmental systems and their interactions. Applying technology for measuring and monitoring both natural and built systems. Global scale monitoring of patterns and processes to understand environmental systems. The why of where explaining processes leading to spatial patterns of physical environment, changes over time, and ways in which human activity affects and is constrained by physical processes. Physical geography is a branch of geography and can also be considered a branch of earth science.
