Inter-provincial dispute (bc-alberta: government agreed to buy existing pipeline from kinder morgan (may 2018, federal court struck down the project approval (aug 2018) Initial review didn"t consider impacts of increased shipping on marine life: didn"t adequately consult indigenous people.
