Real, rational, and irrational numbers are used to measure things. There are three different types of numerals: The use of a numeral does not necessarily mean that it is a number (i. e. course code numeral) The meaning of a score is dependent upon it"s context. A single indicator instrument results in us looking for one indicator to determine the score. Many constructs have multiple facets that require multiple indicators to represent constructs. Multiple indicators can also be used to represent varying levels of difficulty.
