Definitions (5/7 = 5 x 2 = 10) Long answers (10 x 2 = 20) For exam: m/w/d: society, social order, social disorder, social change, social inequality. Systemic study of patterned social interactions in society. We also look at the sociological perspective. The scientific study of human social activity achieved through recognizing both general patterns in specific situations and specific patterns in general situations. At the heart of the discipline is a distinctive point of view called the sociological perspective . This means that sociologist look at things a certain way, or from a certain perspective or viewpoint. Interested in social deviations: making familiar behaviour strange, sociology is also about seeing individuality in social context. Questioning what we are conditioned to believe, assumptions behavior: how someone behaves/acts in a social setting, how they are influenced, impacted by their social context/setting. 1980s (being affected by what"s going on in society increase = pattern)
