Specific/task environment: the environment within which a particular organization operates, which is ultimately shaped by the general environment and includes stakeholders, customers, competitors, suppliers, and so on. The environment shared by all organizations in a society such as the economic & political environments, and technological, societal, competitive, and global forces.
