Document Summary
Fill in the unseen: panels/the gutter, six types of panel transitions. Very small amount of closure the reader must provide. Similar to moment to moment but more time and movement occurs between the panels. Therefore, the reader must provide more amounts of closure. There isn"t a firm dividing line between moment to moment and action to action. The panels stay within the same scene but the perspective changes. As time and movement progresses forward, we are no longer seeing the same character or object. Time and motion has probably occurred between panels: not the same moment in time. Between two panels, there are significant different types and place. The subject isn"t very relevant nor is the object of focus. The scene stays the same and time doesn"t pass between panels. We see elements in the same scene from different perspective. There is no relationship between the panels: seven types of word/image combination.
