Part II (25 pts) -> it’s not your opinion but you don’t sit on the fence, if you are on the fence you have to provide enough analytical info for both sides (kind of like your opinion but it is a very informed, analytical opinion) 1. Several texts in the course argue that biological deterministic accounts of gender differences cannot account for deviations from hegemonic gender norms. Choose an alternative theoretical analysis that offers a different understanding of the variations in gender. How does your chosen theoretical analysis explain these differences? 2. Some feminist theorists argue that the lesbian continuum and lesbian existence offers a critique of compulsory heterosexuality. Do notions of the lesbian continuum and lesbian existence challenge a compulsory heterosexists society? Why or why not?
