Power of language is a very crucial part of storytelling. Power of language has a great deal of influence in a story. The words an author chooses to use to tell a story leads the reader in a certain direction and emphasizes the important ideas and information. Through the use of language in specific ways story tellers can manipulate reader/audience to understand the story they are telling through a specific perspective, which is their perspective. Manipulation of words can also lead one to believe the story that someone is telling them is the reality, rather than just their version of the reality. In addition to that, even how a story is structured, how a sentence is written, and how certain words are used in specific places creates a big impact on a story.
