In this section i will be exploring a variety of themes through the context of the novel. Alice"s adventures in wonderland is about a girl named alice who is sitting by a riverbank with her sister feeling bored. So she drifts off to and constructs an imaginative fantasy world in which she has an adventure and at the end of her adventure she wakes up and tells her sister all about it. In addition to that, the idea construction of an imaginative fantasy world connects to the idea topographies and how this fantasy world known as wonderland is a map to alice"s heart"s desires. To begin, the first theme i will be exploring is survival strategy . As alice beings her adventures in wonderland, she is in terra incognito. The theme of survival is demonstrated through the first few chapters, where alice starts by familiarizing herself with this unknown territory she has entered.
