Each question is worth a total of 10 marks: what is the major problem associated with each of the following heuristics, endorsement heuristic, endorsement heuristic is based on seeking information from others. This can include family, friends, and also online reviews and rating systems. One main issue with this is the greater the more likes something receives (positive review) for something, people tend to see it as greater credibility. However, positive reception does not translate to credibility, it just means that it is a popular choice. People tend to choose social recommendation made by normal people, over listening to a more authentic source such as company"s or manufacturer"s. This causes an issue of bias towards the information being sought. When you come across and a piece of information that matches with your own beliefs, you are more likely to believe assign value to it, even if it"s actually wrong.
