FAQ’s for Formatting your Plant Product Essay
1) How should the font and page be formatted?
Use 12 point Arial font, double spaced, 1” (2.54 cm) margins on all sides. Do not
include extra spaces between paragraphs. Indent all paragraphs. Include page
numbers. Do not write your essay in outline form. Note: this document is
formatted as noted above!
2) What citation format should I use?
Your essay should be written in the APA format. You should use in-text citations
to cite your resources for all non-original material. Please see “Creating

3) Should I include Title and a Title Page?
Yes, you should have a descriptive Title. A separate Title Page is optional.

The body of the essay should be 4 – 5 pages. This does not include a Title Page,
References Cited, or the Photo Journal.
