Marin human beings as far back as 50,000 years ago had signiicant environmental impacts (exincion of species) even without advanced science, technology or industry. Huning added to exising pressure on species, something called overkill. Marin does not have kill site evidence in the early quarternary period, but improvements in radiocarbon daing show that no other factor correlates with exincions. Dorn urbanizaion, hydrological engineering and large scale agriculture around 6000 years ago were adopted by many independent early civilizaions, suggesing that technology might determine social and governmental forms.
