Positivism, the belief in the supremacy of facts is why many scientists hold the pus view. many or most highly educated people are positivists. Are we in a post-fact world? i hope not . Different stories can be told weaving together these facts, or a few important lies can be believed in (hillary and emails) Corollary: is a reason why hillary lost is because she had lots of facts, but no story weaving them together .
