It is a pretty basic assumption (held by media driven, white feminists) that an all-female space would be something that is safe and free from patriarchal values and thinking. She"s obviously never been to an aa meeting, that or she just doesn"t understand the group"s purpose, so comparing a political movement to the rehabilitation program of aa is just irresponsible. Male bonding was an accepted and affirmed aspect of patriarchal culture.
