Christopher hitchens analyzed mayor bloomberg"s new york (as in the laws that were passed) and went through with trying to see how well they worked within the city. Hitchens violated the law by doing exactly what the laws did not want citizens to do such as riding a bike in. Central park without a bike bell and feet off the pedals. He spent a day violating these laws, but the law failed him in the sense that it did nothing to punish him. Those who impose the laws, such as police officers and others, failed to notice such violations, regardless of the fact that years before, these violations were big things . Trying to control and create a safe environment, actually constricts the society from doing anything. We end up creating tyrannical world that make no sense.
