Leading it is easy to give directions, much harder to get someone to follow them. Coach k standards: look me in the eye, trust, no excuses. A key to good communication is approaching with the right tone. Learn to frame choices to get what you are asking for. Avoid attacks, arguments, putting a person on the defensive. Don"t create a choice that you may not like the consequences. Man can be put into a position to be a leader but they must act the part to become a leader. Self-confidence knowledge and ability to impart that knowledge. Self sacrifice time, energy, emotions, finances empathy. Paternalism take car of needs before your own put others first. Fairness treat people equally, not alike understand individuality. Dignity separation, time to distinguish yourself respect is earned not bought.
