Enlightenment: it was a movement during the 18th century that focused heavily on using reason. There was a rise of modern science and the scientific revolution which used reason to solve problems that not have been confronted yet. For example, benjamin franklin was a printer and the term errata means mistake. However, by using reason the mistake one makes are not sins.
