I would like to inform you of the changes among the u. s family throughout history. I researched on some of the biggest differences between the family of today and the family of the 1950s. My research will help you understand the causes and effects of these changes. Some of the biggest differences in u. s families are in the family pattern, which has drastically changed in developed countries like the united states, in divorce and separation, and in dark sides of families. Compared to 1950s today only ministry of people get married. 2011 u. s bureau of the census, over 90 percent of adults in their mid-fifties today have or previously been married (giddens 2016). Today divorce has become more common and the rate at which people give divorce has also risen. In previous decades marriage was thought to be long-lasting and unbreakable but today countries like the. Today changes in laws have made divorce easier.
