Document Summary

May be impacting the object/organism/environment: one thing is being manipulated the one thing is different. Distribution of species varies on large scales but can vary on small scales: random, uniform (regular) spacing between individuals is relatively all the same; least likely to be function of dispersal, clumped. Individuals are distributed in groups abundance in range may be high or low: only one spot would contain resource (water) Initial distribution is modified by mortality based on environment or interactions among organisms. Distribution: resources vs distance, uniform each organism is going to need a certain amount of space between animals when resources are available to them. What type of distribution pattern would you predict: since there isn"t any change in population or number of territories, i would say the birds are following some uniform pattern. The population is relatively constant most likely because the birds have found an area of island in which they have found constant resources.
