The levels of organization of multicellular organisms and how they are related. Biosphere, ecosystem, communities, populations, organisms, organs & organ systems, tissues, cells, organelles, molecules. The 5 kingdoms and three domains of organisms. Based on cell type: prokaryote: (bacteria, archaea) and eukaryotes: (animalia, plantae, fungi, protist) Hypothesis driven, science as it reacts with society. The role of model systems and some examples. We use models because they have a feature similar to the organism for which they are standing in and they are easier to use in a scienti c setting, rats or monkeys being tested on.
