Topics include fingerprints, impression evidence, tiretreads, footwear, firearms and toolmarks, and questioned documents. What is a question document and how is it analyzed: any object that contains handwritten or printed material, which source or authenticity is in doubt, analyzed by comparing known and unknown writing samples. What do question document examiners do and how: compare known and unknown writing samples in attempt to identify or eliminate possible suspects. How is handwriting disguised: inconsistent slant and letter formations, change of capitals, use of block lettering, major change in size of writing, lack of rhythm, irregular spacing, unnatural starts and stops, excessive ornamentation.
