Bacteria, archaea, eukarya: everything exists on this planet due to something called evolution by natural selection , species come from pre existing species, about 50 trillion cells make up the human body; these cells come from pre existing cells. Taking a look at two separate individuals allows us to quantifiably decide: historically, taxonomy is an inexact process. if the two individuals are the same species, organisms which were once placed together in a certain classification group have been separated when new or better evidence is uncovered, dna sequencing of genomes for example.
