(procedure) Frist, attach the empty mass hanger to the spring, just like the exp. last week, with no extra mass. Then determine the period of oscillation for each mass. After measuring the elapsed time for 20 complete oscillations, the masses of the spring and the mass of the hanger pan have to be recorded and measured.
