There are some organisms that live there: sabertooth viber fish, angler fish, upwelling, very important, often occur on the west coast of continents, why do upwelling occus, as the wind blows the surface is taken with it. As the winds blow they turn right as they move south which causes the deeper water to upwell and come to the surface. The deep water has lots and lots of nutrients: el nino"s can cause shortage of upwellings which hurts some aquatic animals because they aren"t getting the nutrients that the upwellings where providing. There is not much oxygen down that far in the lake. thermocline (very rapid change in water temperature: when cold water and warm water separate that means the lake is stratified. the water density changes. Which made the lake extremely productive: oligotrophic- least productive place. Some streams have large boulders at the bottom, but some have small rocks.
