You can buy blue books at the university bookstore: no outside materials are allowed. Failure to stow all outside materials including cell phones will result in dismissal from the exam and will initiate the procedure(s) for dealing with academic misconduct as stated in the syllabus. The format of the exam is as follows. Identifications (40% of total grade): this portion of the exam will entail short answer identifications. there will be a list of five terms drawn from the list below. You will select two from the list and write one paragraph about each. First define the term, tell when and why it came about, and explain its broader historical significance (most of the points lay here).
