-The first assignment includes coming up with volunteer hours.
-Two people are assigned to present material from what you have read every week. Come up
with quiz questions to see if people read the material. Come up with two points from reading to
ask the class.
-Buzz words: flexibility, boundaries, client first, building trust, cultural sensitivity, never a “one
size fits all, triggers, context, past and present, self-care, burnout, empowerment.
-Anything you disclose about yourself to your client needs to be for their benefit.
-NASW Raleigh conferences for students that are free in North Carolina.
On Any Given Day Video:
- Social workers may work in adoption agencies, senior centers, etc.
- Education includes Bachelors, Masters, and Doctors of Social Work.
