2. The reaction order, (β), for crystal violet is 1. This is because the correlation for the graph that
shows the relationship between ln[CV] is closer to 1 and more linear than the graph that shows
1/[CV], which is second order.
3. Part 1:
(0.05 moles) (0.01 L) = (0.1 L) (M2)
M2 = (0.05 mol x 0.01L) / 0.1 L = 0.005 mol/L OH-
Part 2:
(0.1 moles) (.01 L) = (0.1 L) (M2)
M2 = (0.1 mol x 0.01 L) / 0.1 L = 0.01 mol/L OH-
