Justify your conclusions using complete sentences your reasoning is just as important as your calculations. You may use our assigned exam period (noon-1:50pm on monday june 11 in stag 226) for group work. Your completed papers are due in the uhc o ce no later than 5pm on wednesday 13 june. The purpose of this exercise is to use our acquired knowledge of linear algebra to learn about fundamental features of markov pro- cesses. Each problem is worth ten points, though some are consider- ably easier than others. An (n n) scalar matrix is any matrix of the form i where is a scalar and i is the (n n) identity matrix.
