Three main domains: bacteria- prokaryote(no organized nucleus, archaea- prokaryote, biochemically different from bacteria (give off methane, eukarya- eukaryotes (organized nucleus) Divided by 3 factors: cell type, prokaryote- no organized nucleus, eukaryote- organized nucleus, cell number, unicellular- single celled organisms, multicellular- multi celled organisms, food source, autotroph- produce own food, heterotroph- consumes other organisms.
