Started at the wedding of peleus (hero) and thetis (goddess) They decided not to invite eris (goddess of strife) She gets a gold apple and leaves it on the table, causing issues. Fight between aphrodite, hera, and athena about who is the most beautiful and who the apple should go to. Zeus will not get involved and sends them to a paris shepherd who is actually a trojan prince.
