Generation war is a tv miniseries that takes place during world war 2 in nazi germany. The movie is considered to revolve around a group of five german friends (wilhelm winter, Charlotte, greta muller, viktor goldstein, and friedhelm winter) all in their late twenties, who are thrown into different paths throughout nazi germany"s world war 2 regime. Wilhelm winter is the narrator and considered to be the most important character throughout the movie. He describes the events of each characters lives as they unfold as well as point out his love attraction between him and charlotte. Wehrmacht officer in the nazi army and believes he is firmly bound by honor to fight as a soldier for his country. Subsequently, he is determined to do his duties of commanding his infantry platoon, but eventually as the story progresses he later has to protect his little brother from his own troops.
