How do we know something: personal experience -- because i"ve been through it , where can personal experience go wrong, draw incorrect conclusions, sometimes we have difficulty truly understanding our own experience and the results of our experiences. Intuition -- because i have a gut feeling : where can intuition go wrong, our gut can be mistaken and beholden to stereotypes, can cause us to draw incorrect conclusion. Tradition -- because we"ve always done it that way : examples, cultural norms.
