According to merriam-webster online dictionary prostitution is the practice or occupation of engaging in sexual activity with someone for payment. Nowadays several states and countries have been legalized for prostitution. However, some states and countries still thinks prostitution should be illegal and stay illegal for several logical reasons. Prostitution is not only a crime itself but also helps to increase other dangerous crimes such as human trafficking, homicide, juvenile prostitution etc. Prostitution is a huge concern in the society not only for being a crime but also for degradation for moral values. It hurts the society in a larger scale than what people think it actually does. If prostitution becomes a legal job, people will stop going to school to get education. Instead of getting degrees, they will start their prostitution job and earn as much money which is morally wrong and unfair.
