Natural selection: a feedback process whereby nature favors one design over another because it has an impact on reproduction. What is science: relies on observation vs logic which can only tell us how things should work. Scientific method: the procedures by which scientists conduct research, consisting of the 5 basic processes of observation, prediction, testing, interpretation, and communication. Descriptive-field observation: a study designed to depict the participants in an accurate way where a researcher observes the subject in its natural environment.
