Race: a social construction: a group you belong to, lineage, membership within a particular ilk, based on arbitrary characteristics. It is always based on the body: passed from generation to generation (cid:498)people are one way because of this way(cid:499) Early government: landownership is given to nobles in exchange of nobility. Racialism: one social/national group identified as a group that are identified inferior amongst others. Racism: social hierarchies are put into effect to subjugate one group underneath another, theory of human body was that those with superior complexion were better than all others. Humeral complexion: race in the modern world is closely connected to that of othello is terms of color vs. rank. In othello rank is what separates each class of people, which essentially translates into each race of people. The people with the most power are separate from those with little power whom in turn are separate from those with the least power.
