New or press ctrl+n to open a new file. We will be putting our code in a file and then tell the interpreter to run that code. Choose a location for your file (the default folder selected is not a good place to put your code. Name your file cost_of_living save or ctrl+s. The last folder you choose will be the name of the project. If you get a drop down saying that no "python interpreter configured for this project" click on "configure python interpreter" and then select your interpreter. Once pycharm has loaded your project, right click on the folder named cost_of_living and choose new python file. Write a program that calculates your monthly cost of living. Before thinking about code, we need to think about how to solve the problem. Do this without thinking about the code because code limits our thinking too much.
