Tech + digital media have changed many aspects of our lives
Course purpose: provide understanding of learning skills + literacies required for academic
+ career success in 21st century
Issues: impact of tech on reading/writing; collaboration, media/tech skills; content literacy;
critical thinking; video games/social media; assessment of digital media projects
Course argument: 21st century literacies important for success + integration of tech in
curriculum=balance between gains/losses

21st century teachers don't just have to worry about tech + skills for global economy
They have to incorporate so much more̶>dynamic classroom=dynamic world
