This law, by southern states, mandated racial segregation in public facilities of all kinds. However, although northern states technically passed this law, they also practiced racial discrimination. American men did not have right to vote and even if they had one, they were able to vote after the literacy tests which were mostly non-sense or very biased. There was a lynch law that would control any forms of resistance. Frederick talyor or taylorism allowed the segregated, more expertise related work process for the mass production which corresponded to consumerism prevailed in 1920s. This movement advocated measures to deal with the problems of industrial capitalism by using the power of government. It happened in response to the economic inequality, political corruption, corporate and personal greed, and rampant individualism without concern for larger social good.
