Did the truth come out of the trial. I believe the truth did not come out of the trial for various reasons. One of the main reasons was that the families of the victims (children who developed and died of leukemia), never got to tell their side of their story. Another reason is that the epa came out with new evidence showing the companies were guilty several years after the trial, but not during the trial. Different versions of the truth were seen by the plaintiffs lawyer and families, defense, and judge. Jan schlictmann felt the truth didn"t come out because the whole story wasn"t told by the families and because evidence was covered up (which was later uncovered). The truth wasn"t allowed in the courtroom but it sat in the hallway. Some families felt that the truth didn"t come out because they didn"t get to speak, and because new evidence came out later.
