Had to appear at ministry of propaganda office. Inside there was a nazi officer who had him give his papers then directed him to the office. Nazi guards on the way to the office were stationed and asked where he was going. This continued as each guard he met asked him where he was going. Sat down and hoped that goebbels would lift ban on the testament of doctor mabuse, but goebbels didn"t even talk about that. Instead talked about what he and hitler had in store for him. Offered position as head of all german productions. Hitler and goebbels had seen his work and hitler was convinced he was the man to five the national socialist film. Was honored because he couldn"t say anything else. Didn"t enjoy ending, the main character should"ve been killed by the wrath of the people not his own insanity. After meeting he went to paris on vacation then never returned.
