In each of the following problems, use your knowledge of organic chemistry conventions to answer the questions in the proper manner. You will have the entire class period to complete this exam (1 hr, 35 min), but hopefully you won"t need it! Pay attention to provided point values and opportunities to skip problems to use your time wisely. Draw an x over parts of problems to skip to indicate the remaining parts you want evaluated graders will chose the first problems, not the best ones! The missing ether cleavage product on page 5 is butanol. Please do not use colorful pens that can interfere with grading. Electronic devices of any kind are not allowed, including cell phones and calculators. Any student found using any of said devices, or found examining another student"s exam, will be promptly removed from the exam room and at minimum will receive a zero on this exam.
