The learning psychology: focuses on the environment. It is rooted in the behaviorist movement (which focuses on rewards and punishment: learning psychology is objective and programmatic. Social psychology: focuses on both the individual and environment. It describes the psychological processes that determine systematic reactions to the environment. It focuses on our both subjective interpretation, and objective environmental factors determine behavior. Which is essentially dispositional (internal factors) vs. situational (environmental) factors. It is the scientific discipline that attempts to understand how people think, influence, and relate to each other. Wilhelm wundt: founder of psychology, provided some of the earliest scholarly work that provided the necessary inspiration for the development of social psychology. Norman triplett: considered the first person to conduct the first social psychology experiment in 1895.
