ANT 2000 Study Guide - Jamie Oliver'S Food Revolution

41 views1 pages

Document Summary

In the town, there are a number of causes for the high obesity rate. Causes include fattening foods, fried foods, low exercise, and an overall bad diet. I think that the strongest cause is an ignorant view on health. Throughout the episodes, families and school faculty don"t even realize how unhealthy they are being until it is blatantly pointed out to them that it is bad and unnatural. Until people realize that they are being unhealthy, they wont change their eating and exercising habits. I think the town resisted to the change a lot because they didn"t respect. Oliver and didn"t believe he had the authority to change the town. I think that because the town thought that oliver was giving the town a bad name and was offending them that they didn"t want to listen to the things he had to say and the ideas that he had.
